Structure Femininity: These garments were created using draping techniques. They are meant to capture a delicate balance between structured architecture and femininity.
Geometric Waves: This garment was inspired by Japanese wave and line drawings. The garment combines the soft organic lines from art with geometric lines from architecture. The line details are digitally engineered onto the pattern pieces. This garment received 2nd place in Day Dresses at the Iowa State Fashion Show.
Lover's Eyes: I was inspired by an antique jewelry trend in the 1700s-1800s worn by aristocrats called Lover's Eyes. These pendants, broaches, rings, etc. have a painting of their spouse or lover’s eye on them surrounded by jewels and pearls. Because only the eye was shown, the identity of the person remained secret.
Red Rock: This mini collection was created through pattern making techniques. This mini collection was inspired by the colors and aesthetic of Red Rocks Park and Amphitheater. The garments were inspired by the trend of flare sleeves.
Midnight Tea: This dress was created using Optitex to create the digital pattern.
